The Field Chooser

The Field Chooser

To choose which fields to display for assets in List and Grid views and the Fields panel, choose Edit Fields from the drop-down menu .

Choosing fields

The Field Chooser shows a list of all fields in the catalog on the left, and fields displayed in the current view on the right.

  • To add a field to the current view, drag it from the list on the left to the list on the right.

  • To change the order that fields are displayed in, drag a field up or down in the list on the right.

  • To remove a field from the current view, drag it out of the list on the right.

  • To narrow down the list of fields on the left, type a partial field name in the Search box at the top of the dialog.

Click Save to save your changes.

Field Preset Lists

Users with the Catalog Administrator or Publisher role can save a list of fields as a preset that can be used by any other user of the catalog.

In the Field Chooser, you can:

  • Choose a preset to edit from the Presets menu at the top of the dialog;

  • Click + to add a new preset;

  • Click to remove the selected preset.
