Locking assets
If you need to keep an asset in your catalog, but make it unavailable for modification or use, you can lock the asset.
This might be necessary if, for example, your license for using an asset has expired but you need to retain the asset for historical reasons.
To lock assets, select one or more assets in the main window, right-click one of the assets and choose Lock Selection.
Another way to lock an asset is to click the lock icon

below the asset’s thumbnail in the main window and choose Lock from the menu.To lock all the assets in an organizer, right-click on the organizer and choose Lock Contents.
You can unlock assets the same way you lock them: right-click on selected assets, click the lock icon / for a single asset, or right-click on an organizer.
